1 cup cooked Rice

100 g Cottage Cheese (Paneer Homemade)

4 big tomatoes

whole spices:

1 Moti Elaichi (Black Cardamom)

2 black cloves

2 black peppers

Small piece cinnamon

1 Tej Patta (Bay Leaf)


Fresh Coriander

Salt to taste

1 lemon to make paneer


A small Portion of Salad of your choice

*** Paneer is a source of saturated fat and

thus should be consumed sparingly. highly

recommended to make Paneer at home as

it is much lesser fat than buying from the



Step 1

Prepare one cup of cooked white rice by taking 1/4 cup of uncooked rice and

boiling it in two cups of water in a pan. once boiled, drain the excess water on

a sieve.

Step 2 – Paneer Prep:

Take a half kilo of double toned milk and make paneer by boiling milk over

medium heat. Add one lemon and let it curdle. Shut flame. Add few ice cubes

and drain the whey. if you like you can set the paneer in a muslin cloth.

Chop and puree the tomatoes. Take all spices and coarsely ground them.

In a pan add Tomato Puree and heat on medium with the paneer pieces for

one minute.

Add the ground spices, salt to taste.

Serve with chopped coriander as garnish.

Step 3: Optional

you can have a small portion of fresh vegetable salad of your choice. For Eg:

carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, cucumber, Onion etc. The same can be

consumed with a simple lemon or a tsp of olive oil & vinaigrette dressing.
